Issued to visitors whose income is derived from legal investments, interest of deposits, benefits or retirement allowances produced outside Venezuela, if such income is over US$1,200.oo per month. If the head of a household travels with his/her family, he or she shall additionally show documentary proof of a permanent monthly source of income generated abroad in the amount of US$ 500 per family member travelling with him/her. This type of visa is granted for one (1) year with multiple entries and it allows the bearer to stay in the country for the same length of time.
Requirements
- A Passport valid for at least one (1) year.
- Two recent front colour photographs, size 3 x 4.
- Legal attestation of the monthly income issued by the pertinent authorities.
- Prove of family relationship that exists with the person or persons who travel with him/her.
- Certificate that proves that the person has no records in the files of the police authorities.
- To fill up the visa application form .
- Once the requirements are verified by the Consular Section and the visa is approved then the applicant should deposit the equivalent to US $ 60 (sixty dollars) in the account of the Consular Section of the Embassy of Venezuela in the Danske Bank No.- 445-1411330, Reg. number 3001. It is important to stress that the person or company concerned should pay –additionally- the Bank’s fee for the transfer or deposit. If the transaction involves two Banks then please verify that both fees are included .
If you choose to process your certificate or other document by postal service, please include a self-stamped and self-addressed envelope. The Embassy recommends to use certified mail, and if is so, please send with the envelope the post office form “Postkvittering” duly complete to be able to return the document.

The Embassy is not responsible for any loss of documents sent by ordinary post mail.

The average visa processing time will fluctuate between 4 days and 15 days, during which time the applicant’s passport has to remain with the Embassy.
