Business Visa

This type of visa allows the non-immigrant traders, executives, representatives of enterprises or industries to carry out activities and/or transactions related to trade, mercantile, financial or other lucrative activities in connection with their business. It is granted for one (1) year with multiple entries. On each entry, the bearer of this visa may stay in the country for a period of up to one hundred and eighty (180) days. The stay in the country may not be extended beyond this period of time.

Requirements:

  • A Passport valid for at least one (1) year.
  • Two recent front colour photographs, size 3 x 4.
  • Certificate of employment or letter of the company responsible for the applicant's travel to Venezuela, stating the purpose of the travel and the address of the enterprise or person to be contacted in Venezuela.
  • Mercantile or commercial registry number or a letter issued by the pertinent chamber or association of commerce or industry.
  • If the applicant is the owner of the company or enterprise, he or she shall show documents that prove this condition.
  • To fill up the visa application form.
  • Once the requirements are verified by the Consular Section and the visa is approved, the applicant should deposit the equivalent to $ 60 (sixty dollars) in the account of the Consular Section of the Embassy of Venezuela in the Danske Bank No.- 445-1411330, Reg. number 3001. It is important to stress that the person or company concerned should pay –additionally- the Bank’s fee for the transfer or deposit. If the transaction involves two Banks then please verify that both fees are included .

If you choose to process your certificate or other document by postal service, please include a self-stamped and self-addressed envelope. The Embassy recommends to use certified mail, and if is so, please send with the envelope the post office form “Postkvittering” duly complete to be able to return the document.

IMPORTANT:
The Embassy is not responsible for any loss of documents sent by ordinary post mail.

The average visa processing time will fluctuate between 4 days and 15 days, during which time the applicant’s passport has to remain with the Embassy.
