This visa is issued to non-immigrants passing through Venezuela in transit to another country. It allows staying in Venezuela for up to 72 hours with a single entry. If the ticket indicates that the applicant will need to return to Venezuela in order to transit back to his country of origin or where the person resides, the visa will be granted for two entries, with seventy-two (72) hours for each stay.

Requirements

• A Passport valid for at least 6 months.
• Two recent front colour photographs, size 3 x 4.
• Airline ticket that proves the continuation of the travel and the itinerary.
• To fill up the visa application form.
• Once the requirements are verified by the Consular Section and the visa is approved then the applicant should deposit the equivalent to US $ 30 (thirty dollars) in the account of the Consular Section of the Embassy of Venezuela in the Danske Bank No.- 445-1411330, Reg. number 3001. It is important to stress that the person should pay –additionally- the Bank´sfee for the transfer or deposit. If the transaction involves two Banks then please verify that both fees are included.

If you choose to process your certificate or other document by postal service, please include a self-stamped and self-addressed envelope. The Embassy recommends to use certified mail, and if is so, please send with the envelope the post office form “Postkvittering” duly complete to be able to return the document.

The average visa processing time will fluctuate between 4 days and 15 days, during which time the applicant’s passport has to remain with the Embassy.
